Ziva’s Story

4-month old puppy Ziva captured our hearts before we ever met her. We kept hearing the staff and volunteers of Hillsborough County Animal Services talk about her loving personality and sweet nature and we knew that she was destined to be a Dogma-dog! A Hillsborough County Animal Services investigator found Ziva tied up in the front yard of an abandoned house. She had no food, water or shelter. What she did have was a broken back leg. Her owner was tracked down and the woman surrendered her to Hillsborough County Animal Services. HCAS‘ vet examined her and we will also be taking her to our veterinarian to have her leg evaluated. However, neither her bum leg nor her neglect seem to bother Ziva! She is a happy-go-lucky,
snuggly, lovey-dovey little girl.

Ballerina and Ziva have both settled into their respective foster homes. Both girls are loving, sweet and playful dogs. They adore both people and other dogs and are good as gold. While their bodies were hurt, their joyful spirits could not be broken and we are very proud to call them both Dogma Dogs!
