Adopted! Our Adoptables
Adoption process:
1. Email foster home requesting an adoption application, info@dogmarescue.org
2. Fill out our ADOPTION APPLICATION and email back (please know that by filling this out you are not obligated, bound in any way, or guaranteed a dog)
3. Set a time to meet the dog
4. Verification of residence
5. If it seems like a match, place our foster dog in your forever home.
As part of the adoption process there is a vet reference conducted when applicants own other animals(dogs/cats). All existing animals of the applicant must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and have a history of heartworm prevention prescribed or purchased from their veterinarian. If you have any questions regarding this, please ask...we are happy to help.
Dogma Pet Rescue is comprised of all volunteers. We do our best at returning emails in a timely manor, but please understand that we have regular jobs and family obligations that demand our attention also. Sometimes "dog mail" comes last.
All donations help defray the cost of spay/neuters, vaccines, microchips, heartworm preventative, food, and any other veterinary service our foster dogs may need.

Eli: Baby Red-nose Pittie Puppy!
Eli showed up at a Dogma Co-Director's house with his brother, Peyton, when all this particular Co-Director wanted to do was watch the play-off's!
Eli not only loves playing with his brother, but he is incredibly sweet and playful with all of the dogs in his foster home. While certainly not housebroken yet at only 3 months old, we are happy to report that Eli has not had even one accident in his crate in the week he's been in foster care! He may be a genius!
Peyton and Eli are the same age, weigh exactly the same and are obviously from the same litter, we believe that Eli is a pure bred pittie while his brother Peyton has a different father. This can happen. Look it up.
Eli just recently got bit on the head trying to get another dog to play with him who obviously did not want to play. Eli is so sweet and submissive that he didn't even try to defend himself. But his wounds are not at all serious and are healing nicely.
Eli is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriate) and his adoption donation is $250. For more information, please email Amy@DogmaRescue.org.

Bailey: Chocolate Labradoodle (courtesy posting)
BAILEY IS A COURTESY POSTING. DOGMA PET RESCUE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BAILEY'S TEMPERAMENT OR HEALTH. BAILEY IS CURRENTLY NOT IN THE CARE OF DOGMA PET RESCUE. PLEASE CONTACT jennifer.l.lamar@gmail.com IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS DOG.
Bailey is a Labradoodle, even though he doesn't exactly look like one! Bailey is 5-years old and is people-friendly and dog-friendly. He doesn't share his food well with other dogs and his owners feed him in his crate so Bailey feels secure! Bailey is a wonderful boy who loves people and dogs ... but not cats. (We can't really blame him!)
Bailey is neutered and vaccinated.
Dogma is posting this dog as a courtesy for his owners. Bailey is not free. Please email jennifer.l.lamar@gmail.com for more information about this handsome dog!

Big Blue (Courtesy Posting): Pittie-boy!
BIG BLUE IS A COURTESY POSTING. DOGMA PET RESCUE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BIG BLUE'S TEMPERAMENT OR HEALTH. BIG BLUE IS CURRENTLY NOT IN THE CARE OF DOGMA PET RESCUE. PLEASE CONTACT caryl.melancon@verizon.net IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS DOG.
Big Blue is appropriately named! He is 92-lbs of solid pittie-boy! He was found running the streets and was rescued by a dog-savvy angel who took him to her vet, had an abrasion around his neck treated (probably from where he had been tightly tethered with a rope), had him neutered and vaccinated. This big boy has captured the hearts of the vet staff!
Big Blue has been evaluated by a professional dog behaviorist whose consultation notes are available. He is wiggly, friendly and happy with people. Because of his size, it is recommended that he not go to a home with little kids who may be knocked down! Also, he apparently never learned that cats are "valuable members of the family"!
Big Blue is about 3 years old, is FIXED, up to date on vaccines and there is a cost to adopt him. Again, Dogma Pet Rescue is not in possession or is responsible for Big Blue, please address all inquiries to caryl.melancon@verizon.net.
