Adopted! Our Adoptables
Adoption process:
1. Email foster home requesting an adoption application, info@dogmarescue.org
2. Fill out our ADOPTION APPLICATION and email back (please know that by filling this out you are not obligated, bound in any way, or guaranteed a dog)
3. Set a time to meet the dog
4. Verification of residence
5. If it seems like a match, place our foster dog in your forever home.
As part of the adoption process there is a vet reference conducted when applicants own other animals(dogs/cats). All existing animals of the applicant must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and have a history of heartworm prevention prescribed or purchased from their veterinarian. If you have any questions regarding this, please ask...we are happy to help.
Dogma Pet Rescue is comprised of all volunteers. We do our best at returning emails in a timely manor, but please understand that we have regular jobs and family obligations that demand our attention also. Sometimes "dog mail" comes last.
All donations help defray the cost of spay/neuters, vaccines, microchips, heartworm preventative, food, and any other veterinary service our foster dogs may need.

Sarah Jane: Terrier / Corgi / Westie mix
Sarah Jane was rescued from Pasco County Animal Services. She is new to foster care, but she has already stolen our hearts.
While we are still getting to know her, we can say that Sarah Jane is a lovely, sweet and affectionate lady-dog. She is dog-friendly, seems ok with the housecat, and she is very well behaved. So far, she seems to be housebroken and she is definitely crate trained. She is a little shy and has obviously been through a lot in her short life, and she is a little nervous around men, but her foster dad is working on that!
Sarah Jane is about 3 years old and weighs about 35 lbs. She is vaccinated and will be spayed, microchipped and heartworm tested prior to adoption. Her adoption donation is $200 and if you have any questions about her, please email Amy@DogmaRescue.org

Dante: Rhodesian Ridgeback mix
Dante is one lucky dog!
He was saved from being a discarded stray on the streets and eventually found his way to Dogma where he is being fostered by a professional dog trainer!
His foster mom has taught him the basics - sit, stay, come, down, leave it and drop it (although he is still struggling with 'drop it.' Dante gets a C- in 'drop it'!! Dante's manners are very impressive! He does not jump up and he walks beautifully on a leash. Dante is also housebroken and crate trained.
Dante is very dog-friendly, he is very good with kids and just loves everybody he meets! (Unless you are a cat...)
While Dante is a laid-back and mellow dude, he does need to be exercised and he loves going for walks.
Dante is about 3 years old, weighs about 70 lbs, is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested (neg) and is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption donation is $125 and if you would like more information about Dante, please email Amy@DogmaRescue.org.
